Animation Development and Onion Skinning
To enable me to get a realistic and fun looking animation I used the onion skinning technique to help create life-like walk cycles. I was able to do this within animate and using a drawing pad, I wanted my characters to have a 'bop' to their walks so that it looks both friendly and inviting. I watched a number of tutorials on youtube to aid me throughout this production, this enabled me to gain new skills throughout this assignment. This is a screenshot below of all my layers within animate, this shows the technical side of my animation, it also displays how I have set everything out so that it runs smooth when being played. Once all the components have been prepared ready to be animated they will all be on separate layers so that they are able to correctly animate.
