Characters and Backgrounds
Once I had a general plan for my background I went into animate and started to trace the components needed for my animation. I also did this for my characters, I sketched them first, put them into animate ready to be traced and rendered.
The colouring of my characters is very important because I want it to be bright and colourful so that my younger audiences are attracted to my final piece. The images below are photos of my initial sketches, I wanted to use curved and bold lines to bring the characters to life but also keeping it child friendly at the same time.
The images included are screenshots throughout the production of my animation. above is the final sketch for my characters, these will the be rendered using the colours collected on adobe colour. The image to the right is the start of my background, I purposely made a longer background so that it will pan across the screen when the users move the characters with the keyboard.
